SUMMARY:Gladstone Park Throwback Music Fest 2026: Marlon and the Shakes
DESCRIPTION:MARLON AND THE SHAKES is a Chicago band that offers up a perfectly mixed musical cocktail of funk\, pop and rock music. The group has delivered infectious grooves and to countless private events\, clubs\, and festivals across the country. Most recently THE SHAKES embarked on a project called “12 In Twelve“\, where the group committed to writing\, recording\, and releasing one song a month in 2021.  It’s a creative and logistical challenge\, but the band has already made fast work of it starting with their January release “Hemisphere”.  They also dropped their self-released debut EP\, “Here Come the Shakes” in 2019.
