DESCRIPTION:Southbound was started in 2017 and included members Art Miller\, Dick Miller\, Ray Hughes\, Jeff Foster and Mike Hermanson. In 2019 Mike Hermanson left the band and was replaced by Bill Brightwell on guitar. Jeff Foster left his place as lead vocalist and guitarist in 2020 and was replaced by Billy Stone. In 2022\, Tim Fritz replaced Billy Stone as the singer. Southbound is a professional band with members who have played together for decades. They arrive and set up on time and they bring a great crowd who loves dancing to their southern rock and country sound. Southbound has played all over the Chicago area and are happy to travel further to share their rockin’ music. They play small or large venues at a reasonable rate and anyone who hears them is bound to have a good time!
